Celestron 127EQ PowerSeeker Telescope – Reviews:
Celestron 127EQ PowerSeeker Telescope has generally received good reviews but there have been some complaints as well. Users have been happy with its assembly and say that it is very easy to set up and use but you need to be familiar with the equatorial mount. Navigation is another of Celestron 127EQ PowerSeeker Telescope’s plus point as users found it very easy to locate and view the moon, Mars, Saturn and Jupiter. Its image quality is also good according to many reviewers and you can see the minute details of moon/craters and the moons of Jupiter. Tracking a star when the earth turns is also very easy with this scope and just requires turning of a knob.
On a negative point, the reviewers say that the Barlow lens and 4mm eyepiece of Celestron 127EQ PowerSeeker Telescope aren’t good at all and they had to either replace them or buy a new one. It is also very shaky and gives blur image with even the slightest of movement. It knobs, and dials all bump each other and its design isn’t user friendly. Celestron 127EQ PowerSeeker Telescope’s tripod didn’t win many hearts either because of the clumsy design of the knobs and dials.
This product is inconvenient for anyone who wants a professional full strength sky gazing experience but given the price, the Celestron 127EQ PowerSeeker Telescope’s is a great product for beginners or amateurs as well who don’t want to spend a lot on their first purchase of a telescope but would like to see planetary objects.
